Mr Boleslaw Meluch (Polish Bank Association - Committee for Real Estate Financing) / European Property Institute) will be speaking during our 'Social Infrastructure' session on the conditions of financing social housing in Poland. This presentation will highlight how municipal projects can be financed and are municipal projects attractive for private sector financiers and investors?

 Mr Meluch is currently Adviser to the Management Board of the Polish Bank Association where he is responsible for preparation of legal and organizational framework of the primary and secondary mortgage market, cooperation with all mortgage market participants, designing legal and information standards, risk modeling and designing of data base for risk assumption and mitigation, setting up the new rental housing instruments. He is also Vice President of the European Property Institute, he was previously Head of the Housing Funds Department at the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, as well as manager of the government sponsored funds: National Housing Funds, Subsidy Fund, Thermo Modernization Fund. Since the beginning of the transformation period he took part in capital market development, including setting up investment funds (Pioneer) in Poland.
